Integrity, as I teach it, is a weekday practice: what you say and what you do are close enough that you can live with both. Not purity. Not a divine-nature certificate. Not a bargain with the sky that pays the rent if you beam hard enough.

The live archive promised ten paths to create spiritual integrity, then wrote as if you were a metaphysical practitioner with clients waiting for downloads. I will keep ten practices. I will drop the clinic, the frequency, and the prosperity-gospel.

I write as a public educator. Take one practice into the week and leave. If you wanted a guru, a shine you can sell, or a coach who will tell you that spirit is sending lessons through your hardship, this is the wrong door — on purpose. New here? Start here. Who I am: About. Inner maps: Metaphysics. Daily practices: Wellness.

This page is not a second ladder. The canonical map is nine movements on a spiral. Integrity sits in the later band of that map: I live from centre, then I rest in more than ego. You will loop. You can tell the truth on Tuesday and still snap at the kettle. That is not a failed path. That is a person. Canon: The 9 stages of spiritual self realization.

Ten practices (a menu, not a vow)

  1. Pause before you act
  2. Mean what you say
  3. Do not stockpile the day’s weather
  4. Own the next move
  5. Stay in the day
  6. Eat your own advice
  7. Keep one new honest question
  8. Let other people have their path
  9. Widen the circle of kindness
  10. Say thank you without a deal

You do not need all ten. You do not need a month per idea as a programme I grade. Pick one. Two minutes of it is a real practice.

1. Pause before you act

Before the send, the spend, the yes you do not mean: one breath. Does the body tighten or settle? Will this add a harm you will have to carry? You do not need the phrase highest good. You need a pause.

Honour is ordinary: do not use a person as a prop. Do not use a spiritual sentence to dress a cruelty. If the next move is a medical or legal one, this page is the wrong door — see the person allowed to help.

A cousin of this pause already lives at the kettle: 12 mindfulness exercises to start using daily.

2. Mean what you say

If you tell a child to tell the truth, tell it at the table. If you praise rest, sit down. Congruence is not a shine. It is the unheroic work of not running two scripts.

The live post asked practitioners whether they were a shining example of the outcome they promise clients. I do not take clients. I will not write you a practitioner code. The household version is enough: do not sell a life you will not live at 16:00.

3. Do not stockpile the day’s weather

A hard afternoon will try to move in. You can notice it without building it a wing. Walk. Wash the mug. Name the feeling once, without a speech.

I dropped “energetically clear,” grounding-as-a-method I deliver, protection rituals, and dumping anxiety into the ground as if the floor were a clinic. Rumination is a human loop. If the loop is larger than a rough week, stop using a blog. Get help that is allowed to help. The rule sits on Disclaimer.

Emotional literacy as education — not a leadership pitch — sits here: The four components of emotional intelligence more important than iq.

4. Own the next move

You did what you did. The other person did what they did. Blame as a hobby is expensive. Responsibility, here, is narrower: the next sentence, the next apology, the next boundary.

I will not tell you every experience was a lesson spirit arranged. I will not tell you to stop complaining as if grief were a character flaw. Look for what you can do on Thursday. That is enough of a start.

The mirror of this — saying no, telling the truth, putting the list down — is Eighteen things a self-aware person does: 18 things a self aware person does without realizing it.

5. Stay in the day

Connection, as I teach it, is attention: the tap, the floor that held, the person in front of you. It is not a continuous download. It is not a night-and-day open channel I can switch on for you.

You may already pray, sit, or walk to a place of worship. Keep it if it is yours. I will not replace it with a morning intention that increases divine messages. A kettle minute counts.

Trust as noticing — not a law that pays you — is a sister page: 10 beautiful things that happen when you trust in the universe.

6. Eat your own advice

The live post had a second practitioner paragraph: deliver intuitive messages objectively; remind clients they have free will. I deleted the waiting room.

If you give advice at the table, eat it yourself. If you cannot, stop giving it. That is integrity without a client list. I do not take 1:1 students from this library. There is no call to book.

7. Keep one new honest question

Stay curious. Read a page. Ask a better question than “how do I look.” Stretch is a walk you have not taken, not a personality upgrade, not a rank called evolution.

Avoiding stagnation is not a productivity cult. A nap can be the honest thing. Learning as shopping — a new book, a new teacher, a new trend, never staying — is the catalogue the spiral already warned you about.

8. Let other people have their path

You do not have to like every path. You do not have to bless it. You do have to remember it is not yours to grade.

The live post said all paths are valid and then wrapped that in lessons-in-this-lifetime. I will keep the first half. Differences among people can enrich a street. They can also harm. Integrity is not a demand that you suspend judgement when someone is being hurt. Kindness is not a blank cheque.

On this site, other people’s inner maps are not a contest with yours. Nine movements, not a queue.

9. Widen the circle of kindness

One useful kindness you would not have performed for an audience. A nod. A message that is not a performance. A minute with a person who cannot pay you in glow.

I dropped “beaming love,” “high vibrational energy,” and frequency as a product that uplifts the world. Kindness does not need a physics. If you already have a faith, use its word for charity or mercy. If you have none, the nod is enough.

10. Say thank you without a deal

Gratitude as noticing: the tap ran, the bus came, a person was decent. Not a bargain. Not “even the negative is a gift spirit sent for your growth.” Hard weeks can be hard. You are allowed to say so.

The longer noticing skill is here: A helpful guide to cultivating gratitude. I will not tell you gratitude rewires a diagnosis. I will not tell you integrity makes money arrive, illness leave, or the universe sign a contract.

How little is enough

Pick one. The pause before send is a full practice. So is eating the advice you gave. So is a thank-you that does not invoice the sky.

If the loud work this week is shedding an old role: The art of transformation. Weekday noticing: Wellness. I do not take 1:1 clients. Leave with one practice.
