Ordinary noticing of a hard person is the whole thesis. Not a dunk that your perceived enemies are your greatest teachers. Not harm as a gift you must thank. Not a trauma protocol I run from a library.

The live title sold your perceived enemies are your greatest teachers. I will not keep greatest-teachers as a dunk. I will not keep harm as a gift. I will keep four weekday notes about how those slogans actually behave at a desk.

Two cousins already hold a different job. This URL does not clone either. Agency without a blame ledger — not a power-to-change guarantee: Taking responsibility is power to change. A next look on a hard week — not a gospel that difficulties are opportunities in disguise: Difficulties are opportunities in disguise. Use this permalink when the search was perceived enemies as greatest teachers.

I write as a public educator. Take one practice into the week, or none, and leave. If you wanted a coach, an energy-field patch, a trauma programme, or a promise that thanking a harm treats a diagnosis, this is the wrong door — on purpose. New here? Start here. Who I am: About. Daily noticing: Wellness.

This page is not a rival ladder. Canon is nine movements on a spiral: The 9 stages of spiritual self realization. A difficult Tuesday is texture, not a tenth stage you fail.

This is not a trauma protocol. Harm has clinicians. If a week is larger than a difficult colleague — a body that is not safe, a mood that will not lift, a mind that is planning harm, a history that needs care — stop. That is a clinician. In a crisis, local emergency services, not this inbox. The rule sits on Disclaimer.

Four notes, not harm as a gift

You do not need all four. Number one is not holier than number four. Pick the slogan that is loud this Tuesday.

  1. Naming a harm is still manners
  2. A person is not a curriculum I assign
  3. One observation from a hard hour
  4. Agency without thanking the harm

1. Naming a harm is still manners

The live opening sold dualistic thinking as a mistake: friends or enemies, good or evil; we oversimplify; we lose growth that would not come any other way; so-called enemies could be some of your greatest teachers; no matter who or what, it can be a teacher.

I dropped mistake as a dunk. I dropped greatest-teachers as a rank. I dropped no-matter-who as a law that erases harm. I will keep a smaller sentence: naming a harm is allowed.

“That meeting was cruel” is a Tuesday. “I will not call this person a gift” is manners toward your own hour. Black-and-white can oversimplify a week. It can also be the accurate word for a line that was crossed. You do not owe this page a softer noun.

Naming a fact as speech-manners already has its own page: 3 ways airing grievances creates negativity. What you may take: one honest name for what happened. Not a dunk on people who still use the word enemy.

2. A person is not a curriculum I assign

The live middle sold occult forces, evil, parasites: they show a point of weakness; a point of entry you left open; trauma is usually the originating cause; or you intentionally weakened your energy field; thoughts, words, and actions punch holes that let anything in.

I dropped occult-forces as a map I deliver. I dropped parasites as a dunk. I dropped holes-in-a-field as physics. I dropped trauma as the originating cause of those holes. This page is not a trauma protocol. Trauma has clinicians. I will not sort it from a paragraph, and I will not tell a harmed person they left a door open.

I will keep: a person is still a person. A difficult colleague is not a lesson plan I write on their back. You may learn something in the hour after they leave. That learning is yours. It does not make them a teacher you must enrol under, and it does not make the harm a syllabus.

What you may take: one boundary you actually mean — a shorter call, a no that is one sentence, a walk after the meeting. Not a field I patch. Not a person I convert into curriculum.

3. One observation from a hard hour

The live post offered a proverb: learn silence from the talkative, tolerance from the intolerant, kindness from the unkind; observe those who disgust you; look at everything as an opportunity to grow; a teacher opens a door, you enter yourself.

I dropped disgust as a homework. I dropped everything-as-opportunity as a gospel. I dropped teacher-opens-the-door as a guru frame I occupy. I will keep one smaller sentence: one observation from a hard hour is allowed.

You can notice that you went quiet when someone would not stop talking. You can notice that you do not want to copy a cruelty you just watched. That noticing is ordinary. It is not proof that the unkind person was sent as faculty. You do not have to be grateful for the demonstration.

What you may take: one observation, written once. Not a purity project. Not a growth I guarantee.

4. Agency without thanking the harm

The live close sold two choices: ignore the opportunity and be plagued with attacks and intrusions, problem after problem; or see the growth, patch the holes, and watch attacks cease. Then: Law of Attraction; rage, fear, and sorrow as lower states that weaken an electromagnetic field; manipulation; physical and mental health issues; thank them; be as pure and evolved as you can be.

I dropped two-choices as a guarantee. I dropped attacks as spiritual physics. I dropped LoA as a product. I dropped lower-states as a rank that makes a feeling into a disease. Illness has clinicians. I dropped thank-them as harm-as-gift. I dropped pure-and-evolved as a club.

I will keep: agency is allowed. You may leave the room. You may ask for help. You may write one true sentence and then do the next ordinary act. Gratitude, if it arrives, is yours — not a pill this page makes you swallow for a person who harmed you.

Agency as a weekday practice, not a power to grab: Taking back our power. What you may take: one next act that is yours. Not a thank-you I require. Not a trauma protocol.

How little is enough

Pick one. One honest name. One boundary you mean. One observation from a hard hour. One next act that is yours. Not greatest-teachers as a dunk. Not harm as a gift. Not a clinic.

A difficult person is not a product I convert into a teacher from a library. I do not take 1:1 clients. There is no call to book. Leave with one practice, or with the Tuesday you already had.

This page is education, not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a treatment plan. I write as Ultimate Wellness, a public educator — not a doctor, not an HPCSA-registered dietitian, and not a therapist. I don’t take 1:1 coaching clients from this library; take one useful idea and use it. If you have a condition, take medication, or need care, please see your own clinician — more on Disclaimer.
