The live title sold a quick test that can help you know if you are actually on the right path in life. I will not keep a test. I will not keep a score. A path, as I teach it, is a weekday thread you can actually inhabit. Not a destiny certificate. Not a pass/fail on the job, the city, or the relationship.
Two cousins already exist. This URL does not clone them. Purpose as a weekday practice — a quiet listen, one next action that is actually yours: 3 important steps to pursuing your life purpose. Purpose as a weekday thread — not a destiny you find: How to find your purpose in life. Use those permalinks to practise a thread. Use this one when the search was the 2021 quick test — meaning as a compass, body as a certificate, fear-versus-love scoring, all roads lead home — and you needed the exam refused.
I write as a public educator. Take one noticing idea into the week, or none, and leave. If you wanted a coach, a path-reading, a 1:1, a Zukav school, or a promise that finding the right path treats a diagnosis, this is the wrong door — on purpose. New here? Start here. Who I am: About. Daily practices: Wellness. Change over weeks: Transformation. Inner maps: Metaphysics.
This page is not a rival ladder. Canon is nine movements on a spiral: The 9 stages of spiritual self realization. A thread sits near I live from centre: a next response that is actually yours. You will loop. That is a person, not a failed path.
If a feeling is larger than a rough week, stop. Get help that is allowed to help. The rule sits on Disclaimer. In a crisis, local emergency services, not this inbox. A grey job is not proof you chose the wrong life. Illness is not a spiritual grade.
Four notes, not a quick test
You do not need all four. Number one is not wiser than number four. You do not need a sentence that starts “I am on the right path” before you are allowed to be kind.
- Meaning as weather you notice, not a test you pass
- A body can inform without certifying a destiny
- One honest why — not fear-versus-love scoring
- A longer road is still a Tuesday
1. Meaning as weather you notice, not a test you pass
The live post opened on ordinary questions — right relationship, right job, right city — then funnelled them into how do I know if I am on the right path? Gary Zukav, named with respect as author of Seat of the Soul, is quoted: use meaning as your compass; as you move the way your soul wants, meaning comes in; the other way, life drains of meaning. I will keep a smaller sentence: notice whether this week still has a thread you actually care about. I dropped the soul-wants compass as a certificate. I dropped right-path as a pass.
Meaning can thin. A job can still pay the rent while the thread goes quiet. That is a human Tuesday, not a failed destiny. Plenty of people never use the word path and still become someone they can live with. Six ordinary notes as a mirror, not a test: 6 signs you have found your path in life. This URL does not clone that mirror. What is unique here is the 2021 exam. I will not run it.
What you may take: name one thing you keep returning to when the week tries to make you a mascot for other people’s plans. You do not have to call it a soul. “Trust the process” is not homework I grade.
2. A body can inform without certifying a destiny
Zukav is quoted again: if it were not meaningful you would do something else; the body’s sensations tell you about your spiritual path; intuition is the voice of the non-physical world. I dropped non-physical as a product. I dropped the body as a destiny certificate. I dropped “you would do something else” as a dunk on people with real constraints — rent, care of someone else, a tired body, a shift.
What I will keep: a body can inform. Heat. Tightness. A yes that is actually yours. A no you have been swallowing. That is weekday noticing, not an icon’s hat. Intuition as four rooms — gut, heart, vision, belonging — not ESP: 4 levels of intuition. Sensation is information. Information is not a certificate.
If the body is a war — pain that will not lift, a panic that is not a career hint — this drill is not your treatment. See someone allowed to help.
What you may take: thirty seconds at the kettle. What is actually happening in the body before you name a story about the job, the city, or the person. Then return to the Tuesday you have.
3. One honest why — not fear-versus-love scoring
The live “quick exercise” was: before you speak, ask your intention, then keep asking why. Want a new job, then a bigger house, then admiration — that, said the quote, is fear. If it gives joy, meaning, fulfilment, and involves other people well, it is love, and love creates blissful consequences.
I will keep one honest why. I dropped the ladder as a score. Fear is not a moral fail I stamp from a URL. Wanting rent, a door that locks, or to be seen, is human. Love is not a bliss-machine I operate.
What you may take: ask why once, maybe twice. Write the true sentence. “I want quieter evenings.” “I want the bill paid.” “I want to stop performing for that room.” Stop before the exercise becomes a hunt for a more impressive motive. True is enough.
4. A longer road is still a Tuesday
The live takeaway said the body knows; stop and listen; the stakes are lower than you think; there is learning in every choice; all roads lead to home; some are more direct and joyful, others longer and more difficult, but you cannot make a wrong choice.
I dropped “all roads lead to home” as a fate gospel. Some roads should not have been taken. Harm is not a scenic route. I dropped “you cannot make a wrong choice” as a certificate that cancels consequence.
What I will keep: a longer week is still a life. You do not fail a spiritual grade by still having a job that pays the rent. When the old path is still loud, that has its own door, and it is not a clinic: Finding a new path when youre attached to the old and scared of failing. This URL does not clone it.
What you may take: one next step that can survive a Tuesday with the job you have. Shrink it until it fits. You do not need the right path named first.
How little is enough
Pick one. One thread you actually care about this week. Thirty seconds of body before a story. One honest why, not a fear-versus-love score. One next step that fits the Tuesday you have. Not a test. Not a score. Not a destiny certificate.
A thread is allowed to be quiet and still be yours.
I do not take 1:1 clients. There is no call to book. Leave with one honest note, or with the path you were already walking.
